Wedding Coordinator/Host Reports To:
Event Manager Schedule:
Flexible schedule Thursday to Sunday Weekend availability 9-30 hours per week Primary
Responsibilities:
Ensures smooth operation of the venue on wedding days.
Helps set up the ceremony and reception area for the event.
Helps prepare reception tables and other d cor for the event according to instructions received from the couple.
Ensures customer satisfaction through interacting with the bridal party and vendors and through going above and beyond in assisting with all aspects of the wedding day.
Takes care of problems discreetly and in a timely manner by taking initiative and using creative problem-solving.
Provides assistance during event transitions by helping the bridal party, adjusting the floor plan, or moving d cor.
Provides excellent customer service and assistance to guests and vendors before and during the event.
Takes initiative to do what needs to be done in order to provide an exceptional experience for our couples, their guests, and vendors.
Additional Responsibilities As Needed:
Administrative work Assisting clients with questions regarding their wedding details Meeting with clients to go over event details Taking prospective clients on a tour of the the venues Preferred Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and sales skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong creative problem-solving Strong time management skills Works well under pressure Works well with a team Ability to complete assigned tasks with little or no supervision Ability to take initiative to go above and beyond basic job responsibilities Proficient with technology Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours of a 9-hour shift Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Education And Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma preferred Additional education or experience in customer service or event management preferred Job Types:
